Swedish Potato Sausage
The second best Swedish Potato sausage you’ve ever eaten - because nothing is as good as your grandparent’s. We use organic russet potatoes and onions from our neighbors at Food Farm, some mild spice and our pasture raised, heritage breed pork.
We sell two different versions:
The Classic
1.25lb loop - stuffed in a large caliber beef casing, this makes a great centerpiece for your holiday meal. The casing is edible, but as told to us by a trusted Swedish sausage advisor, most folks bake it in the oven, then split the casing and carve out the goods. (This is recently updated from our 1lb loop. We’ve found the larger size to be more popular and it makes a finer shape)
Extra Long
4 long bratwurst sized links (1.25lb total)- These are at home on a bun and on individual plates. They’re stuffed in to our standard brat sized casing and are great fried in a pan or even on the winter grill. We used to make this version for the iconic north shore restaurant, New Scenic Cafe and the positive response inspired us to sell this version to you!
