Our pigs produce a large amount of leaf lard compared to commercial industrial breeds. This fat lines the internal organs and renders at a very low temperature, producing an incredible, multi use saturated fat. We use it for cooking, frying, protecting our cast iron when not in use and use it for our soaps.
